Likely a good fit if….

✔You’re looking for someone who values honesty, patience, and nonjudgment without pushing a one-size-fits-all approach.

✔You’re navigating chronic pain, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed.

✔You appreciate a balance of emotional support and concrete tools or strategies you can actually use in daily life.

May not be a great fit if….

✘ You prefer a more confrontational and highly directive therapy approach.

✘ You want therapy that is purely deep insight-processing without practical skill-building or structured support.

Meet Michele Krug

  • Clients tend to describe my approach as collaborative, easy to talk to, practical, and nonjudgmental. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—together, we focus on what actually works for you. I aim to create a space where you can be honest without feeling pressured or talked over. Many people appreciate that I balance listening with practical feedback, so sessions feel both supportive and useful.

  • Through my own therapy, I’ve learned that struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you’re dealing with something that matters. That understanding influences my work by helping clients approach themselves with more patience while still moving toward change.

  • I became a therapist because I wanted to work with people who are often overlooked or don’t always have easy access to support. I find it meaningful to provide a space where people can talk openly about what they’re dealing with and get practical help that fits their real-life circumstances.

  • My own experiences have helped me better understand how challenging it can be to face difficult situations and ask for support. Because of that, I’m mindful about creating a space where clients feel respected, not judged, and not rushed. I also recognize that change takes time, which shapes my approach to be patient, practical, and focused on what feels manageable.

  • I practice what I teach by using the same strategies I share with clients in my own daily life—whether that’s managing stress, staying grounded during difficult moments, or focusing on small, realistic steps rather than trying to change everything at once. I don’t aim for perfection, but I do value consistency and self-awareness.
