Likely a good fit if….

✔You are interested in gaining insight into the patterns you’ve carried and are open to doing the work to change what no longer serves you

✔You have experienced trauma or challenging events and want to understand how they may still be impacting you today

✔You are looking for a safe, non-judgmental place to process complex emotions, past wounds, and relational dynamics

✔You value a therapeutic relationship built on trust, depth, and meaningful reflections

May not be a great fit if….

✘ You prefer a highly structured, directive approach over a reflective, insight-orientated process

✘ You’re not yet ready to explore how past experiences or trauma may be influencing your current challenges (i.e. solution-only focused)

Meet Jordyn Kaminski

  • My approach is warm, insightful, and compassionate.  I value helping clients feel deeply seen while guiding them toward understanding the patterns that shape their lives at a comfortable pace for them.

  • Healing does not mean erasing or forgetting the past, but rather learning to carry it differently.  The protective patterns that we've developed to survive were once necessary, but part of healing is recognizing when it is safe to let them go.

  • I am a therapist because I I believe in the transformative power of being seen, supported, and understood while doing the hard work of healing.  I know the profound impact it can have when someone finally meets you with understanding, compassion, and curiosity.

  • My own experiences with anxiety and the process of unlearning old survival patterns have deeply shaped the way I connect with clients.  I understand how hard it can be to let your guard down, to face painful truths, and to believe change is possible, and those experiences fuel my passion to support others as they navigate their own path toward healing and self-understanding.

  • I recommend “The Body Keeps the Score” by Bessel van der Kolk, for its insights into how trauma lives in the body, and “No Bad Parts” by Richard Schwartz, which has helped shape my belief that all parts of us, even the ones we struggle with, deserve compassion, understanding, and a voice.

  • I continue to stay curious about my own patterns and reactions, especially in moments of stress or discomfort.  I make space for rest, reflection, and meaningful connections, and prioritize relationships where I can be fully seen and supported because healing isn’t just something we talk about in therapy; it’s something we live and experience in every moment.
